ADESGO e CEDHIPA: ambulatório e laboratório para o atendimento integral aos pacientes com lesões bucais do sudoeste goiano no âmbito do Sistema Único de Saúde promovendo educação permanente como meio de alicerce para as ações desenvolvidas

Abstract

A major challenge within the Unified Health System (SUS) is the early detection of oral lesions, especially cancer. In an attempt to remedy the existing difficulties, the Stomatological Diagnostic Outpatient Clinic of Southwest Goiano-ADESGO, and the Center for Histopathological Diagnosis CEDHIPA was created with the objective of specialized and multidisciplinary clinical care and the issuing of anatomopathological reports. Unavailable equipment is used in SUS, providing a quick diagnosis of initial injuries and conducting research in the area. Aiming at the qualification of the active professionals, Permanent Health Education programs, theoretical and practical, will be promoted every six months. These actions will promote positive changes in the oral health of the population, in addition to reducing public spending on the treatment of lesions that are in advanced stages.
