Item Avaliação da área de disposição final de resíduos sólidos no município de Goiânia – GO(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-11-03) Amaral, Ana Karolyna Nunes; Costa, Frederick Douglas Rodrigues; Ribeiro, Noely VicenteThe correct final disposition of urban solid waste has been one of the main challenges that were found by the government of the Brazilian territory in the last decades. Due to the pressure by the federal government, the garbage dumps are in the process of extinction and they have substituted by sanitary embankments, which are a better way to waste disposition. However, the working and operation of the sanitary embankments have a lack of fulfillment of the legal requirements. This work has the objective of evaluate the better way of sanitary waste disposition on the Goiania-GO city, using like an instrument of evaluation the Index of Quality of Waste Landfill (IQR). The result of the embankment classification was 6,00, which was found inadequate.Item Estudo do transporte de sedimentos em suspensão ao longo da bacia hidrográfica do rio Meia Ponte – Go(Universidade de Federal de Goiás, 2021-10-22) Amaral, Ana Karolyna Nunes; Rosa, Lucas Espíndola; Formiga, Klebber Teodomiro MartinsThe present work show with objetive understand of hydrosedimentological dynamics in rivers of the Meia Ponte River Basin, localized in the State of Goias, Brazil. For the development of the work, samples of suspended sediments were collected in six sections, as well as hydrological surveys through the ADCP equipment. The samples were made during the dry season at the end of July, and November during the rainy season, both referring to the year 2018. The results indicate that the suspended sediment soncentration in the BHRMP rivers ranged from 2,62 to 21,69 mg/l, transporting on average 6,31 tons/day of suspended sediments and 25,64 tons/day of total solid discharge during dry season. In the rainy season the suspended sediment concentration ragend from 39,02 to 127,58 tons/day, carrying a solid suspended solid discharge of 401.75 tons/day and a total solid discharge of 868.90 tons/day. The variation is related to the pluviometric seasonality that provides alteration of the critical speeds that remobilize and transport the sedimentary material.Item Mapeamento de dolinas utilizando modelo digital de elevação na borda ocidental do Chapadão Central – oeste da Bahia, Brasil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-20) Silva, Gisele Bispo da; Cherem, Luis Felipe Soares; Amaral, Ana Karolyna NunesThe sinkholes are surface features indicative of the karst system that connect the surface drainage to the underground. The karst system develops mainly through the action of subsurface dissolution, with the interaction of water with carbonate rocks and some of the siliciclastic rocks. On the western side of the Chapadão Central – Western Bahia, developed on the sandstones of the Urucuia Group, these closed depressions occur, which may be linked to the karst system of sandstone dissolution. The objective is to map the sinkholes that occurred on this plateau from an algorithm already consolidated for this purpose and validating with the photo interpreted sinkholes. A total of 8,187 depressions were identified by the automatic method, 5,701 depressions after topological cleaning of the drainage network, 202 after adjusting the minimum size from 16,200 m² to 80,000 m² and photointerpreted 109 sinkholes. Of the 202 depressions automatically mapped, 43 correspond to sinkholes dispersed in the plateau and not identified in the photointerpretation and 50 correspond to errors caused by the high roughness in the DEM. The automatic mapping proved to be effective when the algorithm criteria were adjusted.
