Item A abordagem de gênero e o ensino de geografia: possíveis diálogos com a formação de professores/as(2022) Morais, Juliana Mendes de; Souza, Vanilton Camilo deThe teaching profession raises several debates that are relevant to the development of fundamental knowledge for professional practice. In this perspective, this article discusses the importance of the gender approach, based on the interpellations of Feminist Geographies, in the initial and continued training of Geography teachers. These interpellations are used because they are fundamental when focusing on the spatialities of groups that until then were not highlighted. When this aspect is considered, it is understood that the subjects position themselves in different ways in their relations with places and with daily socio-spatial practices. In this sense, it was asked how gender is discussed in the teaching of Geography in Basic Education. To contribute to this debate, a survey of theses and dissertations was made in the catalog of the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes) to identify the works produced so far. Twelve surveys produced in Programas de Pós-Graduação in Geographyin the country between 2005 and 2018 were identified. The discussions proposed here aim to provoke the debate about the existence and the relevance of a gender approach in teachers training, based on the interpellations of Feminist Geographies, which seekto overcome common conceptions and understandings in the teaching of Geography regarding this theme. Item A análise do voto como metodologia de compreensão da dinâmica urbana: estudo aplicado à cidade de Trindade – GO(2021-01) Rodrigues, Wildes Jesus; Deus, João Batista de; Chaveiro, Eguimar FelícioThe analysis of urban space is complex and there are several methodologies which are registered, among them, approaching the understanding of its reality. The urban dynamic is one of those elements insered in the city and, in this paper, we investigate this approach from the analysis of the vote in elections for the mayor in the city called trindade, in the state of Goiás, and it was the stage of this analysis due to the fact that this city has two urban bags with particularities, Trindade II and Headquarters of the city, being the first closed to the capital of the state of Goiás, Goiânia, and another one close to 18 kilometers from the capital city. Trindade II has a particularity of a training process linked to Goiânia and it faces the challenges of urbanization far from the central nucleus of city. The purpose of this investigation was to analyze the urban possibility from the votes in majority negotiations. Concerning to understand all this process, the data related to the municipal statistics from 2000 to 2016 for the executive, with the intention of understanding the behavior of the inhabitants of two parts regarding political choices. We demonstrate that there was a direction of votes as instrument to counteract the political choices which took place in the city headquarters.Item A antropização dos assentamentos rurais nas microrregiões do estado de Goiás, bioma cerrado(2017) Gosch, Marcelo Scolari; Ferreira, Manuel Eduardo; Barbosa Neto, Manoel AlvesAbout 64% of the native coverage of Goiás is anthropized. Some authors attribute the deforestation to agricultural production carried out by small farmers. Rural settlements are part of the context and should be considered in these processes. The purpose of this research is to verify the environmental condition and the degree of anthropization of settlements in the micro-regions of Goiás. For this purpose, the deforestation occurred in the Cerrado biome until the year 2012, more specifi cally in the settlements in Goiás, was collected and analyzed from the Deforestation Monitoring Project of Brazilian Biomes Satellite (PMDBBS), from Ministry of Environment, and from the Warning Deforestation System for Cerrado (SIAD - Cerrado project, from Federal University of Goiás/LAPIG). The results show that the degree of anthropization of rural settlements in Goiás is around 53%. The settlements located in the Meia Ponte, Rio Vermelho, São Miguel do Araguaia and Sudoeste Goiano micro-regions would be more fragile from the environmental perspective, while the settlements located in the micro-regions of Chapada dos Veadeiros and Vão do Paranã would be better preserved. In general, the anthropization in the settlements accompanies the tendency of fragmentation of the landscape or conservation of the remnant vegetation, according to the municipalities and micro-regions where they are inserted.Item A atuação do homem na docência da educação infantil no Brasil(2019-12) Ferreira, Murilo Rocha; Oliveira, Ivanilton José deDespite female professionals being predominant in this field, teaching in early childhood education started to include male educators. However, this relationship often generates discrimination among workers at the first phase of elementary school, and is also manifested in the school community. The present study aims to point out the concepts that guide the existence of possible prejudices and/ or the prevalence of stereotypes among educators and the school community regarding the presence of men in the role of teaching in early childhood education. Such finding is a reflection of the sexual division of labor along the lines presented by Hirata and Kergoat (2007), designating the productive sphere for men and the reproductive sphere for women, which is linked to the concept of educating and caring, inseparable from the children's educational process. It should be remembered that, the presence of a teacher in schools can be seen as an activity that they may pursue as their own careers in the future, regardlessof gender, as it fits both men and women.Item A cartografia da COVID-19: orientações didático-pedagógicas(2020) Richter, Denis; Nascimento, Diego Tarley FerreiraDue to the Covid-19 pandemic, several institutions and government entities developed online platforms to represent the distribution and the increase in the number of people infected and deaths by this illness. These tools available online grant the comprehension of the spatialization and propagation of the new coronavirus on various cartographic scales, as well as enabling the geographical analysis of this phenomenon. In light of this context, a group of researchers in the area of Geography teaching idealized the construction of didactic-pedagogical guiding material entitled “The Cartography of Covid-19: guidance for use in a school environment”, seeking to contribute to the practice of Geography teachers in basic education. In this sense, this article presents the conception and the goal of this material and the possibilities to explore these platforms in the process of teaching-learning of Geography in schools. Item A cidade das mulheres feministas(2019-12) Machado, Talita Cabral; Ratts, Alecsandro José PrudêncioThe objective of this article is to understand the trajectories of feminist women in the city of Goiânia, Goiás and the spatiality of the movements to which they belong. We have specific objectives: to present the correlations between the women, feminist and other movements (black, LGBTT, etc.) in which the militants interviewed participate; to resume a narrative about the emergence of feminist groups in the city; and understand the complexity of women's self-declared identities and their actions. Women's and / or feminist movements are a transnational thematic network that encompasses local, regional, national and international movements and intertwines with other networks of social movements. The groups of the feminist movements are collectives of women, who with their identities are related to construct themselves and actions that interfere in the emancipation of other women and that make possible the fight for recognitions.Item A cidade do Porto e Harry Potter: a paisagem imaginária(2020) Silva, Valéria Cristina Pereira daA foreign looking out over the landscape horizon of Oporto city (Portugal) arranged the meeting with “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”. At the same time, it could be questioned: how could studies of this nature prevent future disruptions of life-shattering models? - These questions are the central problem of this work. It aims to demonstrate and interpret differences and similarities between Brazil and Mozambique in order to identify, from the experiences of the two countries, the importance of sharing knowledge to counter the hegemonic knowledge model that generates several deleterious effects on human health; the preservation of animal and plant species, coexistence and sociability. The methodological itinerary of the article is complex and results from bibliographical and documentary research, fieldwork that privileged non-participant observation, application of questionnaires, interviews with key stakeholders, including workshops with farmers’ associations The theoretical assumption counts on an assertion: there is a close connection between the present world-system and the model of hegemonic knowledge, hence to the inferiorization of other modes of knowledge. This translates into a strategy of domination of the productive system - and of life - by the large global business corporations. Item A dimensão literária da geografia e a dimensão política da literatura: A mesma fase de uma reflexão múltipla(2020) Chaveiro, Eguimar FelícioGeography and literature are in the same sphere: both are sayings; they use language to produce identity, however, as a language they differ. While literature is an expression and a way of experiencing fictional power of life, geography, on concepts of protection and action, theories and methods, promotes world explanations through territory interpretation. Something also unifies them: globalized societies validity implies organization, structuring and the senses of doing geography, as well as literary art, its genres, styles, textual forms – and its meanings too. In order to demonstrate geography literary dimension and literature political dimension, this study originates from research, dialogues, seminars, organization of research networks, to raise a criticism to geography academics formalism, counterpoint- to the veiled hasty writing tyranny of academic habitus, which became dominant in contemporary Brazilian geography.Item A distribuição da rede gravimétrica no Brasil e o desenvolvimento da infraestrutura nacional(2021-03) Castro Junior, Carlos Alberto Correa e; Ferreira, Nilson Clementino; Guimarães, Gabriel do NascimentoItem A eficácia da atuação dos órgãos ambientais frente ao desmatamento no nordeste goiano(2021-12) Ribeiro, Helen de Fátima; Faria, Karla Maria Silva de; Cezare, Cássio Henrique GiustiThe Goiás' northeast region, with high vulnerability and socio-environmental importance, presents one of the highest deforestation rates in the state, which, inascenarioofexpansionofagriculturaloccupation and decentralization of environmental management, mainly after Complementary Law n°. 140/2011, its raises questions. In this sense, the paper objective is to evaluate the agencies performance that make up the National Environment System (Sisnama) in the face of deforestation detected in the region from 2008 to 2017.The resultsshowed that, despite being the state entity responsible for forest management, was the Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama), the most active agency, followed by the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio). We can observe, however, a decrease in the presence of the federal entity in Goiás' northeast region, which was not accompanied by the strengthening of the performance of state and municipal environmental agencies. As a reflex, it was verifiedthat 58% of the detected deforestations occur without proper authorizationand without the application of appropriate punitive and corrective suitable measures, that it indicates a low efficiency in the performance of environmental agencies in the region.Item A estrutura demográfica das pessoas com deficiência no Brasil: indicadores da desigualdade, força da diferença(2016-07) Chaveiro, Eguimar Felício; Vasconcellos, Luiz Carlos Fadel de; Marques, Ana Carolina de Oliveira; Miranda, Marielly de Souza; Deus, Natália Muller deSocial changes of emancipatory groups from 1960 did break out a set of actions and mobilizations against the hegemony of patriarchy; against social and racial discrimination; against war and against despotism way of life based on the commodification. It is within this context of railways’ refunctionalization that the North-South Railway (FNS) was built between the states of Maranhão and Goiás. This article’s main objective is to address the formation process of this railway, its effects on the regional economy of Brazil’s Centre-North, as well as its connections with the global market. Methodological procedures involved bibliographical and documentary research, mapping, and a ten-day fieldwork in Goiás, Tocantins, and Maranhão states. The analysis of the railway’s spatialization and uses reveals its logistic importance and strategic position in the national scenario.Item A geodiversidade e a arte rupestre do município de Milton Brandão, nordeste do estado do Piauí(2021-01) Soares, Jefferson Paulo Ribeiro; Lima, Cláudia Valéria de; Santos, Francílio de Amorim dosThis article aims to understand the relationship between the elements of geodiversity and the main archaeological sites, especially concerning rock paintings, located in the municipality of Milton Brandão, in the state of Piauí. In order to achieve this objective, the characterization of the geological elements was based on data from the Brazilian Geological Service and geomorphological elements. In addition, the configuration of these elements was analyzed regarding the outline of the shapes evidenced in the landscape. Such analysis was associated with the information in the register national archaeological sites of the National Historic and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN). Through the analysis and association of the data it was possible to infer that geodiversity influenced pre-colonial communities in the choice of areas for the insertion of cave paintings. Mainly in rocky environments that had hollows capable of being used as shelter, and that were close to accessible sources of water resources. Thus, the landscape played a role for the pre-colonial peoples who, according to the evidence, went beyond the mere substrate or receptacle for rock art. In conclusion, the cultural expression of pre-colonial man was performed in a two-way relationship with the elements of geodiversity and, in far-reaching perspective, with the landscape itself. Item A imagem e seus aportes ao desenvolvimento do pensamento e das funções mentais no ensino de geografia(2020-06) Pires, Mateus Marchesan; Cavalcanti, Lana de SouzaThe usage of different languages in Geography teaching and the investigations linked to this thematic have widened in Brazil in the last decades. Among those researches, some indicate the potentiality of those resources in the students’ learning, mobilizing the cognitive processes of subject. In this perspective, we present in this text a reflection on the imagery language, from the perspective of Cultural-Historical theory, demonstrating how some higher mental functions (perception, imagination and memory) can be mobilized with the use of visual resources. In addition to theoretical studies in this field of knowledge, the contributions of this text also stem from doctoral research in which the importance of the mediation of imagery language was found, as a didactic resource in the teaching of Geography. We found that mental functions can be mobilized in the constitution of a geographical thought, they are related with the use of images, while representations of visual materials, as well as the creation of mental images, with their (re) constitution or internalization, a condition countless times necessary for geographic learning.
