Using public data provided by the Ministry of Education website, we analyzed the disparity in the number of women in relation to men enrolled in the main courses of Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering and Information Systems. We presented the relationship between subject, knowledge and power present in audiovisual media in order to highlight the role of scientists, highlighting the female presence in computing. We also represented the mechanisms of erasure of women in exact science and the way these representations are perceived by people who make up society.

A graph G is an interval graph if its vertex set can be represented by an interval intersection model on the real line. This monograph presents a study of some properties of interval graphs, such as the absence of induced cycles with four or more vertices and asteroidal triples. Based on the presented properties, given an interval graph G, we develop a polynomial-time algorithm that uses the perfect elimination scheme, obtained through the lexicographic breadth-first search algorithm, to create an interval model for the interval graph G. Additionally, we present a polynomial-time algorithm for determining a maximum independent set in an interval graph G. We also provide a characterization of unit interval graphs as interval graphs free of K1,3.

A dominating set of a graph G is a subset S ⊆ V (G) such that every vertex not in S is adjacent to at least one vertex in S. A locating-dominating set of a graph G is a subset L ⊆ V (G) such that L is a dominating set and, for every pair of vertices u, v not in L, N(u) ∩ L ̸= N(v) ∩ L, where N(u) and N(v) are the vertices adjacent to u and v, respectively. A split graph is a graph G whose vertex set V (G) can be partitioned in two subsets Q and S such that Q is a clique and S is an independent set. In this work, a proposition was constructed to simplify split graphs that have mutually twin vertices, transforming them into graphs with fewer twins and reducing the minimum cardinality of the locating-dominating set by one unit for each removed vertex. Furthermore, closed formulas for the minimum cardinality of locating-dominating sets in complete split graphs and split corona graphs were presented.

Node-by-node replication is related with the implementation of optimal graph-based reduction for the λ-calculus and its associated substitution mechanism was recently identified as the Curry-Howard interpretation of deep-inference. A lazy (weak) strategy is defined for the node-replication calculus, with full-laziness and an observationally equivalent relation equivalent to the same relation for a (weak) call-by-name strategy. A node-replication calculus with a fully lazy call-by-need reduction strategy is specified in the Coq Proof Assistant, following an approach based on a refocusing procedure, allowing the automatic extraction of the corresponding abstract machine.
