Resumo
The
Kalankó
Indians
live
in
the
Alagoas
hinterland.
They
seem
to
live
in
accordance
with
the
dynamics
of
a
specific
musicality
that
was
formed
throughout
the
process
of
ethnic
contact
with
missionaries,
blacks
and
Indians.
This
musicality
constitutes
relations
and
important
meanings
for
community
life
and
the
formation
of
the
Kalankó
person.
It,
still,
articulates
and
commands
contradictory
elements,
as
the
cross
and
Caboclos,
and
conjugates
the
sky
with
the
weeds.
This
text
sketches
the
field
of
performance
of
music
as
basic
device
in
the
symbolic
balance
of
the
life
in
the
high
alagoano
hinterland,
generating
ethical
and
moral
operators
in
relation
to
the
performance
of
community
people.
