Resumo
This article deals with the historical
course taken by the transdisciplinary
thinking that has been built in the 20 th
century, and has approximated two different
fields: science and art. This approximation
between the two, paved the way
in the United States for the emergence
of Cultural Performances Studies in the
1980s which has crisscrossed three formats:
Erving Goffman’s sociological
(2011) with the anthropological of Victor
Turner (2008) and with theatrical developed
by playwright Richard Schechner
(2002). Through these studies presents
initial notes on the interpretation of cultural
performances.
