Resumo

The package is a fundamental communication channel between the consumer and the product. In addition to its basic storage functions, it is through key factors such as visual identity and even the type and format of material that influence the choice and identification with the consumer. As Brazil is a benchmark in packaging innovation and production, it is important to think about the influence that this industry has on the market, as well as the social, cultural and environmental impacts. Thinking about this relationship, products in the category of dermocosmetics (popularly known as skincare products) require important studies on their packaging. Being a primary channel in the communication of a product with a customer, there is the possibility for the product to carry sensory and informational experiences. This project intensifies these experiences by developing a packaging line aside with guides that have a strong visual appeal and that reflect the essence of skincare products associated with sustainability ideals. Based on this premise, these types of artifacts found on the market are investigated, their raw materials and how the user experience in their consumption journey unfolds. With the analysis of these data, alternatives are generated which, when refined, result in products that not only have the sustainable essence in their production technologies, but that also communicate and bring the theme closer to consumers.
