Resumo

In the first months of 2020, Sars-cov-19, the main cause of COVID-19 disease, had been noticed for spreading quickly among most countries, causing a worldwide pandemic situation, that lasts till the present day. Considering the methods used to contain and control the virus spreading, it becomes possible to point out psychosocial consequences, as the alcohol consumption levels modifications. This study had the main goal to investigate possible modifications on alcohol consumption levels on Brazilian adults, and to wonder about relevant variables related. Through a quali-quantitative research, using descriptive and inferential statistics, coming from behaviorism theories, variables as anxiety, stress, adjunctive behavior, The use of drink delivery apps and marketing were evaluated as possible influences on the modification of alcohol consumption patterns during the COVID-19 pandemic period of time. the study showed that the alcohol consumption pattern had changed, and anxiety and stress levels increased, though it's not possible to statically associate the increased levels of the symptoms to a consumption modification.
