Resumo

There is a great amount of information available about perovskite on its characteristics, methods of preparation and application in solar cells, both in scientific journals and in patents documents and understanding its quality is essential for technological advancement with socio-economic impact. This work presents a careful analysis of the information existing in patent databases and scientific journals, regarding the quality and nature of the information contained in these sources. Through the evaluation of the impact factor of journals and the insertion of patents through their citations, it was possible to perform an analysis of the impact that perovskites have on solar cell research and development. A parallel between the increase in the quantity of information from 2004 to 2018 and the scientific events characterized in the search bases is drawn to identify the most relevant publications in this area, worldwide. Using R language to perform statistical evaluation, it was possible to evaluate the impact of the need for information, of the increase of scientific research themes in this field and the ways in which technology is transferred from academy to industry. By means of alluvial graphics the flow of scientific development is presented, relating scientific and technological production to the main institutions in the world.
