Resumo
This article presents a case study, descriptive and exploratory, which proposes
to investigate the limits and potential of the proposed methodology of the degree course in
physical education (PE) at a distance from the University of Brasilia (UNB) through the
System Open University of Brazil (UAB ), from the perception of students. Thus, this
research sought to relate the experience with the teaching methodology of UAB, regarding
issues related to: (1) polo; (2) physical meeting; (3) Moodle tools; (4) present tutor; (5) tutor
at a distance; (6) language; (7) major difficulties; (8) and the profile of the students in the city
of Barretos-SP (UAB II class). The results were mapped: insufficient practical experience in
physical meetings; importance and necessity of presence support pole; positive presence of
the present tutor; absence of tutor at a distance; and "lack of time" as the main difficulty
throughout the course.
