O léxico e o princípio da diversidade linguística

Abstract

Starting from the principle of the linguistics diversity, we want to discuss the existence of a continuumbetween lexicon and grammar. We connected some lexicological studies with studies of ecolinguistics, which analyses the interrelations between language, people and territory from a ecological perspective of the language. The research has a bibliographic and exploratory kind, so it is more theoretical. As a result of this reflection, we propose, by a ecological point of view, that is possible to consider the lexicon the center of the language, like a dynamic system which is capable to recognize the linguistics diversity associated with the adaptation and evolution abilities of the language; those are essential to its survival during the linguistics interaction of the speakers.
