Monitoramento da qualidade das águas do lago do parque ecológico dos Buritis Goiânia-GO, Brasil

Abstract

The present study had as objective to evaluate and monitor the water quality of the Buritis Ecological Park’s Lake, located in Goiânia-GO. For this, samples of water were collected in three points of the lake, weekly, in the period of March 2011 to April 2012. For the monitoring, the analytic parameters were used: temperature, pH, turbidity, color, acidity, total alkalinity, ammoniacal nitrogen, total hardness, chloride, consumed oxygen (OC), total iron, total and fecal coliforms, redox potential (pE), Langelier Stability Index (LSI) and Rysnar Stability Index (RSI). The values found for turbidity, consumed oxygen and total and thermotolerants coliforms were those that more came out of the limits imposed by Resolution Conama 357/2005 (class 2).
