| dc.description.abstract | Natural regeneration represents the renewal activity of trees in a forest, and forest productivity estimates are an important prerequisite for establishing management actions. This work aimed to quantify the natural regeneration biomass in a Cerradão, in Niquelândia, GO, and to generate an equation to relate the number of regenerating individuals to their biomass. Regenerative individuals were those with total height ≥ 1.5 m and DBH <5 cm. Twenty experimental units of 1 m x 1 m were studied, where 56 individuals were found, which represented 917,85 kg.ha-¹ of biomass. The adjusted linear regression equation was not considered efficient for biomass estimates from the number of regenerating individuals found in 1 m² plots (R² = 0.72 and standard error of 86%). | |
| dc.description.resumo | A regeneração natural representa a atividade de renovação das árvores em uma floresta, sendo as estimativas de produtividade em florestas um pré-requisito importante no estabelecimento de ações de manejo. Este trabalho teve por objetivo quantificar a biomassa da regeneração natural em um Cerradão, em Niquelândia, GO, e gerar uma equação para relacionar o número de indivíduos regenerantes às suas biomassas. Considerou-se como indivíduos regenerantes aqueles que apresentavam altura total ≥ 1,5 m e DAP < 5 cm. Foram estudadas 20 unidades experimentais de 1 m x 1 m onde foram encontrados 56 indivíduos, que representaram 917,85 kg.ha-1 de biomassa. A equação de regressão linear ajustada não foi considerada eficiente para as estimativas de biomassa a partir do número de indivíduos regenerantes encontrados em subparcelas de 1 m² (R² =0,72 e erro padrão de 86%). | |
