Resumo
The current reading practices are diverse not only in types
and modes, but also in supports. We can read on tablets,
computers, notebooks and within these supports reads
books, texts, sounds, hyperlinks and many other things.
They are fragmented readings, strong characteristic of the
fast society. However, in addition to haste, this world is
loaded with images, information, readings. In the midst of
this whirlwind called globalization, there is youth. Thus, it
is proposed to discuss the relationship of the young person
with the reading in the society of the hurry from some
interviews done in the Genesco Ferreira Bretas State College in the city of Goiânia. It is a research published in
2014, which brings new analyzes from the concept of
Santaella's ubiquitous reader (2013) and Abreu's (2001)
reading prejudices. It is concluded that although they do
not exist in the speech, the young people have practiced
several readings, especially in the internet.
