Resumo
Droplet countercurrent chromatography has shown to be a useful technique in the isolation
of natural products mostly the polar ones. ln this paper however, we discuss the use of
this technique in the isolation of non polar compounds from crude extract of plants belonging to
the families Sapotaceae, Rutaceae, Simaroubaceae and Hippocrateaceae.
