Ciências da segurança na Universidade Federal de Goiás: inovação curricular e interdisciplinaridade no ensino superior público

Abstract

This article presents and discusses the study that supported the development of the Pedagogical Project for the Bachelor's Degree in Security Sciences at the Federal University of Goiás, for the new Occidental City of the University, in the Integrated Development Region of the Federal District and its surroundings. The main objective was to develop an interdisciplinary training, based on scientific data and evidence, aimed at a graduate capable of analyzing and managing security and risks in three formative dimensions in the Democratic State of Law: Dimension 1 –Work, Health and Sustainability; Dimension 2 –Security (Public and Private), Democracy and Society; Dimension 3 –Cybercrimes and the Digital World. The methodological proposal articulates a humanistic vision with scientific and technological development, based on student protagonism and the learning of meaningful scientific knowledge. The project is based on the analysis of data extracted from the e-MEC Platform, informationgathered from the Secretariat of Planning, Evaluation and Institutional Information (SECPLAN/UFG), and MEC databases on the offering of undergraduate courses.
