O reconhecimento do Quilombola Tapajoara e a construção da identidade de resistência no Pará

Abstract

The article has as its theme the Tapajoara Quilombola and the dynamics of the recognition of its importance in the socio-spatial formation of the Pará Amazon, with the objective of presenting part of the research inventory in the master's program that indicates paths to the doctoral thesis project, in view of the need to expand the scope of the discussion on the rights conquered by quilombolas through the struggle and resistance of their people in different spatialities and moments Historical. The methodology of participant observation provided the initial conduction of the research, which relied on the historical and dialectical method and documentary research. The Afro-Amazonian does not follow an ideal model, but his identity is established by the bonds of solidarity from the period of punishment to the recognition of being a quilombola.
