As faces da violência de gênero em poemas das escritoras latino-americanas Alfonsina Storni, Ana María Rodas e Rosamaria Roffiel

Resumo

This article aims to analyze the different nuances of gender violence based on the figure of women in the lyrics of women writers. To this end, four poems published in the 20th century by Latin American writers Alfonsina Storni (1919), Ana María Rodas (2004) and Rosamaría Roffiel (1986) were selected. The analysis of the poems is based on feminist literary criticism, which allows us to explore the issues surrounding the repression and violence suffered by women and which highlights the need to enable the circulation of historically silenced voices. In this sense, this work also contributes to the critical reception of women’s literary production and discusses problems inherited from the establishment of gender roles, which also leave their mark on women’s writing. To achieve such goals, this study is mainly supported by the theoretical foundations of Ria Lemaire (1994), Nelly Richards (2019), Norma Telles (1992), Teresa de Lauretis (1994), Gerda Lerner (2019), among other scholars.
