Resumo
Studies of the late twentieth century on the literary life under
the reign of Louis XIV destabilized the idea of homogeneity associated
with the French Classicism (CHANTALAT, 1992; Fumaroli, 1997;
Mesnard, 1990; Darmond, 2006; COSTA, 2009). This paper aims to
demonstrate that some of the features defined as essential to “Classicism”
can be revisited as “places” rich tension. The author of Les aventures de
Télémaque, Fénelon, object of this study is that one of the writers, despite appearing in literary history books as an author of Classicism, closely
read, not easily accepted this label. This article will seek to carry out a
brief history of the readings of the pedagogical narrative Les Aventures
de Télémaque to demonstrate as the interpretative practices participate in
the constitution of the senses of a literary text, forcing him to inflections
that kidnap it of his historical moment of production.
