A daseinsanalyse de Medard Boss

Abstract

This work intends to approach the foundations of Medard Boss's daseinsanalysis, more specifically, the appropriation, by this author, of Heideggerian philosophy and Freudian psychoanalysis that allowed the emergence of this phenomenological-existential approach. We chose to carry out an exploratory research based on the work “Angústia, culpa e liberação”, by Boss, in which daseinsanalysis is presented as a conception of the world that leads to overcoming the technicism that prevails in contemporaneity, in addition to providing foundations for a therapy committed to freer ways of being, capable of attributing new meanings to anguish, guilt and existence itself. It can be said that daseinsanalysis configures an audacious project whose foundations sometimes come into conflict. In a way, however, the support of this field, marked by constant restlessness, is in tune with the very condition of Dasein, of incompleteness and indeterminacy.
