Resumo
The present work presents the Facebook site assessment performed by the students of the 8 period of the UFG of Librarianship course. Facebook is a social network in which people interact with each other by sharing news, pictures, videos and texts. Before its great use, is important that the information contained on the site is of extreme reliability for its users, therefore created a drew up a literary review with the appropriate functions such as: source of information, sourced of web information, and the quality of that information,quality of the criteria to evaluate the main source of information in the web, social media in relation to social networking, interaction and social ties,media, press and filter facebook bubble. The criteria of Tomael was selected for a survey. A exploratory survey in a study case with nature quantitative, was found that the social networking facebook does not meet the criteria-relation-assesssed by Tomael.
