Social networks have shown a constant and significant increase in information generation, something characteristic of the big data phenomenon. In this scenario, its users, besides consumers of information, become creators and disseminators, creating an aspect that reveals the break of a static model of communication, promoting a bilateral flow of information. In the face of this, events such as the Covid-19 pandemic end up becoming the focus of records of multiple natures. In this context, this article aims to perform an analysis using data mining solutions on the set of commentaries on publications on Covid-19 in the official profile of the Ministry of Health on Instagram. The results obtained reveal an expressive presence of topics, on the part of the users, that extrapolate health issues, going, mainly, in the sense of manifestations related to the Brazilian political situation.
