Resumo
This article investigaes important aspects of Bachelard' s epistemology. Blen before Philo sophy, it is science itself that offers values of modemity. To the philosopher is left the strategic function of the vigilance of thought. (Keywords: epistemology, historicity, complexity, nacionality, rupture.)
