Resumo
The objective of this work is to show the importance of communication to Third Sector
entities who fight for the defense and valorization of the human being and the environment.
The project contains a detailed study on the organizational environment of Comiss„o Pastoral
da Terra ñ Regional Goi·s, supported by a bibliographic review on Communication
Management, and a return to the concepts of Third Sector, Communication and Institutional
Identity and Strategic Communication. The detection of the main communicational issues of
the entity results in an institutional diagnosis which defines the action line to be followed. The
collected data are used to write a Communication Plan suitable for the reality of CPT ñ Goi·s,
aiming to restructure the Social Communication Department of the organization. Long and
short term actions were established, as well as the description of human and material
resources needed for the materialization of the plan. At last, a report presents the results of the
experience at the Social Communication Department of CPT ñ Goi·s.
