Leitura de imagens: a subjetividade em questão

Abstract

This text provides an introduction to the reading of images, with sample readings of photography, sculpture, painting and film. In order to deepen on the relationship between author, text and reader, as theorized by some authors (Eco; Orlandi; Jouve), as the written text, a foray is made into the reading of images, considering the signs (Joly; Aumont), that is, meaning-carrying units which should be understood, read. We found in the samples that the reader is very objectified by a semantic reading, paraphrastic, therefore, we looked for a target that directs the reading for criticism, this ability to know the device and in it looks at how the senses are made possible in a polysemic way
