Abstract

This work is a development of a recreational space that applies scenography and landscaping within the framework of urban restoration. The objective is to create a multidisciplinary space for events, lectures, fairs, and workshops, promoting sociocultural integration, urban development, social well-being, and reducing the exodus from urban centers plagued by urban voids. Through bibliographic research, the aim is to understand the evolution of themes and how they shape human daily life, as well as the integration between themes. The case studies presented illustrate the possibilities that the project aims to achieve. The project went through stages of target audience definition, structuring of new activities, alteration design, landscaping design, lighting design, and ceiling design. All stages ensured the space had an opportunity for restructuring so that it could be returned to the urban fabric for full use, addressing all the problems raised.
