Sintagmas nominais plenos: a marca de transitividade na língua Shanenawa (Família Pano)

Abstract

In this article we describe how the marks of surface structure clauses in a Brazilian indigenous language of the Pano family distinguish the noun as the subject of a transitive and intransitive verb and as a direct object. This description is based on a comparison among the Shanenawa language and other languages of the same family with the support of the gramatical forms of Proto-Pano.
