Turismo e ciberespaço: implicações inerentes ao cotidiano

Abstract

This paper is a theoretical bibliographic study within the field of Human Geography and related areas.It aims to present the relationships established between the use of cyberspace possibilities and the practice of tourism, highlighting changes in the rhythms of everyday life, with rhythmanalysis adopted as an interpretative method.This investigation was guided by the assumption that there are few studies, from a geographical perspective, analyzing these relationships, which are so deeply present in our everyday lives.Thus, it seeks to contribute to the geographical understanding ofthese relationships and, particularly, to the theoretical and conceptual debate surrounding such practices.To this end, a bibliographic research was conducted addressing topics such as tourism, cyberspace, everyday life, and rhythmanalysis.It was found that, by appropriating the possibilities offered by cyberspace, supported by Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), tourism promotes, publicizes, and produces spaces according to its interests, thereby altering the rhythms of touristified places
