Crescimento vegetativo do pinhão manso submetido à irrigação e adubação potássica na região do cerrado

Resumo

The objective of this experiment was to evaluate the effect of the application of irrigation and potassic fertilization levels on canopy growth of the Jatropha trees. The experimental design was in randomized blocks with subdivided plots and four replicates. The plots consisted of application of four irriga tion levels (0, 40, 80, and 120% of the evaporation of the class A pan) and the four potassium fertilization levels in subplots (40, 80, 120 and 160 kg ha 1 of K 2 O). Twelve evaluation periods of the experiment were also considered for treatment during two agricultural years. Irrigation was by micro sprinkler system to each two days. The plant growth characteristics evaluated were: plant height, stem diameter, canopy projection area, and number of branches in the main branch. Irrigation and potassium levels significantly influenced the vegetative growth of jatropha plants. The best results were obtained with irrigation of 115% of ECA and 125 kg ha 1 of K 2 O levels.
