Comunicação e intertransponibilidade na mediunidade espírita: ensaio de uma antropologia comunicacional da religião em Clifford Geertz

Abstract

Study of the application of the dichotomy of the Clifford Geertz models to the study of spiritist mediumship in Brazil, within a comprehensive approach to the communication sciences. Cultural systems and the intertransposability of ‘models of’ and ‘models for’ are used and applied to the conception and history of spiritist mediumship in Brazil. Finally, it is concluded by the malleability of the intertransponability, perceived as intersígnica communication.
