Resumo
The article analyzes the work 'Parque Industrial' by Patrícia Galvão (Pagu), from 1933, highlighting its historical significance in the labor relations and political struggles of textile workers in São Paulo. The book became a milestone in Brazilian neorealism by revealing the working conditions, social life, and political engagement of women in São Paulo's industrial era. The research relied on the documentary analysis of the novel and primary and secondary sources. It correlates literary representations with historical reality, unveiling valuable insights from Pagu about the lives of working women in the textile industry of São Paulo. The text concludes that 'Parque Industrial' assumes relevance as a testimony to the living and working conditions of women,enriching the understanding of Brazil's social and political history in the first half of the 20th century.
