Resumo

The objective of this article is to analyze the media products derived from the Once upon a time franchise (2011) and to identify elements of connection between narratives, fairy tales and the fictional universe of the series, besides distinguishing if this fictional universe configures a transmedia narrative, according to the concepts of Jenkins (2009). The transmedia narrative refers to the process of communication from multiple and convergent technological and media platforms aimed at increasing the production of meanings. The media processes move through different media, taking advantage of the characteristics of each of them, but extrapolating their cognitive and sensitive universe. The analysis will be conducted using the following media products: the television series, the book and grafic novel.
