Resumo
This essay intends to show elements that contribute to the understanding
of middle age conception, a specific moment of life, into the interval named adult age. It
discusses evidences of a conceptual simplification with a tendency of behavior
homogeneity, conditions and necessities of these people, besides indications about the
treatment of generational categories and a possible conceptualization. It problematizes
the emphasizing of body appearance in the contemporaneity, on the denial of aging
