Perfis de PCR-DGGE de comunidades bacterianas associadas ao rizoplano de milho sob diferentes doses de adubação com compostos orgânicos

Resumo

Organic matter is considered the main component of soil quality because it contributes direct or indirectly to many chemical, physical and biological soil properties. In this context, adding organic compost to soil is becoming an ever increasing popular agricultural practice adopted to improve soil quality, as well as, to make good use of organic residues. An experiment was installed at Estância County (SE, Brazil) to evaluate the effects of organic compost and chemical fertilizer application on the bacterial community associated to maize rhizoplane. The use of organic compost led to changes in bacterial community associated to maize rhizoplane, being observed an increase on the richness of some bacterial groups, which was a reflex on the increase of rare bands number under this treatment. Among organic compost, only Silt (10 ton.ha -1 ) and chicken (40 ton.ha -1 ) composts affected the bacterial communities associated to maize rhizoplane. The effects on bacterial communities are related to the input of organic matter into soil. The PCR-DGGE based method showed to be reliable to evaluate the impacts of different agricultural managements on the soil bacterial populations.
