Resumo
This research has the study Field the municipal public library of Goiânia city and those are
close. This work was delimited due to the large geographic territory of Goiás state and
economic resources. About the instruments of data collection, was utilized questionnaire and.
The questionnaires were applied in municipal public libraries and the interviews were directed
to direction of historic patrimony and artistic of AGEPEL. Also, were applied in the
coordination of system public libraries of Goiás state. The analysis and interpretation about
data show us that is possible to consider which the performance of system public libraries of
Goiás state is performed together with the SNBP and the municipal public libraries which
have difficulties in carrying out their activities.
