Resumo
The objective of this research is to observe the perspectives in which the elements brought
from the context of digital technologies are inserted in science textbooks approved in PNLD
2020. The methodological path is based on a qualitative approach in the documental and
bibliographic research. As a result, we identified that the perspectives that seek the
development of learning through external searches are predominant, approaching 90%. On
the other hand, the perspectives related to the development of knowledge through reading
and visualization are close to 10%. However, we ponder that not instigating the practice or a
stimulus to non-formal use through the book, in no way diminishes its relevance. For, its
handling and reading is a key point for student learning as well as for the maintenance of
the textbook as a State policy.
