Abstract

This paper presents a path of reading from Frege to Austin, intermediated by Kanavillil Rajagopalan’s independent and intrepid interpretations of Austin. By inquiring into a zone of theoretical proximity between Austin and Frege, this paper narrates the importance of Rajagopalan’s readings to the Brazilian debates on Austin.
