The use of stories in comics (HQ) has shown to be an interesting feature for the teaching of chemical concepts. This part of the association of HQ insertion of playful activities in the classroom. The stories in comics, in their different genres, offer several possibilities for applications in school universe, in all its levels. The challenge is to look upon the comics as a pedagogical resource.Under such an approach, it has been proposed to ten classesof third year of secondary education, the analysis of the stories in comics commercial and the drawing up of a HQ unprecedented, having as its central theme the content of radioactivity. This research is configured as a case study. The data collection wasstructured as a documentary analysis that had the basic texts for the analysis the HQ in the format of comics produced by students, the analysis of the content of the transcript of the filming of classroom and meetings at the club, and the comments postedon a page of a group created in the social network for the students to make comments on the activities. The results were analyzed from the perspective of a category: RELATIONS BETWEEN THE SUB AND THE books PRODUCED.This category is divided into 4 categories, namely: effective Relationships between the proposed sub-theme and the story developed. Relations medians between the proposed sub-theme and the story developed, Low relationship between the proposed sub-theme and the story developed, and No direct relationship between the proposed sub-theme and the story developed. It is inferred from the results that the create your own HQ working the association between images, words and ideas, the student takes the scientific knowledge in the form of a dialog and feel motivated considering the fun and playful aspect involved in the activity.
