Resumo
The presente study develops reading of Baco e Anas brasileiras, from Yêda Schmaltz,
book that updates the myth of Dionysus when using food to construct erotic metaphors. The
aesthetic proposal of the book problematizes the feminine sexuality, the literature of female
authors and the moral paradigma of the philistine society. Such readings are guied by the
contributions from Ann-Déborah Lévy (1997), Michel Manfessoli (1985) Affonso Romano de
Sant’Anna (1993) and Lucia Castello Branco and Ruth Silviano Brandão (2004), among others.
