Resumo
In the current climate context, it is fundamental that new sources of renewable energy are developed and have their application made possible for the user in terms of security and constancy. This final project presents research about the use of hydrogen as one of these sources. Hydrogen is the most abundant chemical element on the planet, its use in electric energy generation and storage systems is a promising alternative that has been gaining prominence in recent years, including in Brazil. The objective of this research is to present the
main concepts related to green hydrogen and its association with solar energy. For this, an integrative literature review was carried out with a search in the Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações, IEEE Xplore, Scielo, Scopus and Web of Science databases. The sample included 305 articles published between 2019 and 2023. The results of these studies were grouped into three categories: green hydrogen accessibility process, environmental impacts and difficulties in implementing the production system. The second stage of the production of this monograph is built through the reproduction of calculations for the dimensioning of the hybrid
photovoltaic generation system. For this, the doctoral thesis “Dimensionamento Ótimo de Sistemas Híbridos, com Geração Fotovoltaica e Célula à Combustível, para Atendimento a Comunidades Isoladas da Amazônia” (Silva, Sérgio; 2010), developed at the University of Brasília, by the electrical engineering department. It is concluded that it is possible to reproduce the knowledge methodology used in this production for other locations in Brazil. To obtain data regarding solar radiation, the CRESESB platform can be consulted as a source, as its base has data referring to several Brazilian regions.
