Resumo
This ethnographically based study deals
with the relationship between a Municipal School in
Goiânia and the Central Regional Unit (CRU) which
is subordinated to the Municipal School Board and
which provides pedagogical support to the schools
in the municipality. Interviews were undertaken with
the director of the CRU and with three members of
the team, responsible for providing support to the
schools that work with the Cycles System in Goiânia.
Following this, two Coordinators of a Municipal School
were interviewed regarding the way in which the
school received and understood the support offered
by the CRU. In this way, it was possible to conclude
in the analysis that the existence of hierarchy in the
school organization creates conflict between the CRU
and the School Coordination about the ways in which
pedagogical support should be implanted at the level
of the school, the teacher, the classroom and the student
body.
