O pacto de silêncio: negociações políticas em torno da anistia de 1945

Abstract

El artículo tiene por objetivo analizar las negociaciones en torno a la amnistía en el ocaso del Estado Novo (1937-1945). Creemos que la amnistía de 1945 representó un instrumento central en las negociaciones sobre el pasado dictatorial. Así, el análisis de tales negociaciones puede darnos pistas para comprender el proceso de gestión de la memoria del Estado Novo. PalaThe purpose of this article is to analyze the negotiations about the amnesty at the end of the Es tado Novo (1937-1945). We believe that the amnesty of 1945 represented a central instrument in the negotiations over the dictatorial past. Thus, the analysis of such negotiations may give us clues to understand the process of managing the memory of the Estado Novo.
