Resumo

When we drive an attentive look to conjunctures where we all are inserted, like those which circulates around of plural tentative of social, political and cultural insertions performed by Senates Projects of Law, for example, the inclusion of “Escola Sem Partido” Project in “Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional” (mentioned on the calling for this present dossier “Gênero no Mundo Antigo: contribuições para um debate”), we realized that exist innumerable ways and tools that act in the process of appointment, construction and naturalization of thoughts and practices of exclusion and of gender inequality. In touch with documents of the vast ancient world, we realized, even that this people didn’t know what we called today as culture constructions and social genders, they practices it in various spheres, as laws, citizenship, in theater, weddings and, also, from the stylistic genders used by romans writers. We highlight, this way, the elegiac gender produced by the roman poet Ovid (I b.C./ I a.C.), for, from theses books, Amores, Ars Amatoria, Epistulae Heroidum and Remedia Amoris, we think and question the form of how these writings, circled for a tradition, acted on the construction, reaffirmation, naturalization and role assignment of gender that are, with no doubt, historically built.
