Present, discuss and defend a proposal for analysis of the soundscape is the
challenge of this article. The proposed analysis of the soundscape is the result of
research that is being developed under the Graduate Program in Geography, Federal
University of Goias UFG and the method has its main organizational marker. The
Inductive Method is the recommended method for conducting research addressing
the relationship between noise and health, conducted by the Geography and
methodology comprises: a) spatial an alysis of landscape, b) the quantitative
comparative study, and c) the study of case. Under this approach, this research
should answer: a) the configuration of the arrangement that one wishes to study, b)
what are the main sources of noise that make up the soundscape of these
arrangements, and c) if people who have a direct contact with these arrangements
are already feeling the effects of noise? The Inductive Method is the most suitable
because it allows, from industry studies already made by other scienc es, one can
conclude that unproved similarities between noise and health. Thus, it is understood
that the Inductive Method associated to a Geographical analysis is suitable for the
