Abstract

Scientific research is carried out based on data collection, analysis and interpretation of obtained results. Most of the investigations involving the edaphic production environment demand soil samples collection in the field, whether those intended for physical, chemical, mineralogical or biological soil analysis. Soil collection activities, especially those used in physical soil analysis, require teamwork and the simultaneous collection of different types of samples from nearby points, using different equipment and which need to be operated by more than one person at the same time and in a collaborative way, which requires approximation and contact between people and shared use of equipment and materials. In Covid-19 times, the collection actions and the conditions of the field environment, make the World Health Organization guidelines such as social distance, the use of masks, constant hand hygiene, as well as avoiding people crowding, a challenge to manager responsible for such activities.
