Abstract

This work proposes the development of a preliminary design for a Production and Support Center for Small Rural Producers in Itaberaí-GO. The objective is to foster the exchange of knowledge, improve the marketing conditions of local products, and strengthen sustainable agricultural practices, contributing to the social and economic development of the region. The choice of the theme is justified by the importance of family farming as an economic, social, and cultural base, especially in small and medium-sized cities. The proposal starts from a historical review of production models, highlighting the need for facilities that connect the urban and rural areas. In this way, the support center emerges as a strategic instrument to boost production, guarantee rights, encourage farmers to remain in the countryside in a dignified and sustainable manner, and preserve and value local culture. The result serves as a basis for the development of the architectural project, consolidating a space focused on training, marketing, and valuing local culture, in a harmonious and integrated way with the landscape and identity of the region.
