Resumo
The intention of this work is to analyze the globalization, emphasizing the cultural point
of view. The axle of these discussions is centered in the boardings of Gilbert Dupas
(Global economy and social exclusion), Joseph E. Stiglitz (The globalization and its
curses); Manuel Castells (End of Millennium); and Octávio Ianni (The age of the Globalism). Initially we go to discourse about globalization, at one second moment,
through the demonstrated connections, we go to discourse on the aspects, which denote new cultural configurations, considering the era of information.
