Ratanaa: estudo etnográfico de um artefato plumário dos iny karajá

Abstract

This work is dedicated to the study of a feather artifact from the Iny Karajá called Ratanaa. The study focuses on the complex relationship between the Iny Karajá and their materialities, focusing on feather ornaments and shamanism. The research seeks to understand Ratanaa in its entirety within its field of agency, addressing the issues that surround it and the reflections it provides on materialities and Iny cosmology. This study seeks to highlight the importance of relationships between different beings, in the fluid character of the Iny cosmos. As well as the process of constructing male identity through feather adornments and their connection with a transitional character of the cosmos.
