Resumo
The present study aims to trace Public Relations strategies to increase the
engagement between CONRERP 6º Região and its publics. The achievement of this
purpose passes through the realization of specific objectives, as listed: 1) Develop
the organizational profile of CONRERP; 2) Understand the history of the organization
in the Public Relations context in Brazil; 3) Identify the stakeholders of the
organization and 4)Conceive Public Relations strategies for the institution. In order to
enable knowledge to this discussion, the following methodology was explored:
bibliographic research, documental analysis and content analysis. Therefore, this
study has its theoretical background based on Pinho (2008),Kunsh (1997, 2003,
2009), Simões (1995), Andrade (1983), Farhat (2007) and Versic, Grunig & Grunig
(1996). After the considerations about the Public Relations themes: history and
concepts; concepts of publics; strategic planning and Public Relations planning,
presented by these lectures, 12 actions were proposed concerning the fulfillment of
the aforementioned goal. The work concludes with the reflections about the
performance of Public Relations and its adjustment to the assisted organization.
