Resumo
Goiânia, like any other urban space, is a social product and, therefore, the production
of its forms and contents is amalgamated by capitalism and the culture of patriarchy,
economic and cultural contexts that place it in time and space. The central issue of this
article is to investigate the implications of this process in the spatial dynamics of the
city and in the daily life of women from goianienses. The reflections presented here
were composed of accumulated research on the socio-spatial production of Goiânia;
theses, dissertations and books dealing with the stories of women and cities; and by an
online survey conducted in 2021
